Q8: How to manage and migrate my database
You can use the command of dbgpt db migration
to manage and migrate your database.
See the following command for details.
dbgpt db migration --help
First, you need to create a migration script(just once unless you clean it).
This command with create a alembic
directory in your pilot/meta_data
directory and a initial migration script in it.
dbgpt db migration init
Then you can upgrade your database with the following command.
dbgpt db migration upgrade
Every time you change the model or pull the latest code from DB-GPT repository, you need to create a new migration script.
dbgpt db migration migrate -m "your message"
Then you can upgrade your database with the following command.
dbgpt db migration upgrade
Q9: alembic.util.exc.CommandError: Target database is not up to date.
Solution 1:
Run the following command to upgrade the database.
dbgpt db migration upgrade
Solution 2:
Run the following command to clean the migration script and migration history.
dbgpt db migration clean -y
Solution 3:
If you have already run the above command, but the error still exists, you can try the following command to clean the migration script, migration history and your data. warning: This command will delete all your data!!! Please use it with caution.
dbgpt db migration clean --drop_all_tables -y --confirm_drop_all_tables
or
rm -rf pilot/meta_data/alembic/versions/*
rm -rf pilot/meta_data/alembic/dbgpt.db
